Hello there fellow autechre fans..

Now tthese tracks are from a live set, and I absolutely fucking love them. - They've just hit the spot with me, and I can't get enough of them, sadly I have only a shit quality version of them! so I was wondering if any of you knew what they are titled.

p.s. each track I refer to is separated roughly by a 3 second silence.

Thanks ever so much.

Prototype of LCC from Untilted, then some unreleased track. I think the first can be found on the Glasgow 2005 set, which is a really high quality recording.

Thanks a lot.

I don't mean to suggest you don't know autechre very well, but do you definitely know for a fact that it's an unreleased track?.. as in, you've got/heard every single track/album they've ever released?

Thanks again.

When I downloaded it, I only heard two tracks. But the two tracks I heard can be found on the Glasgow in 2005. I have that set practically memorized. Since I downloaded it, it has been my favorite listen. I dont think Its a precursor to LCC though, because didnt Untilted come out before the Glasgow set?? I was under the impression that all of the Glasgow set was unreleased material. Which is why it had been repeated for other concerts on the 2005/2006 tour. I could be wrong though. But those two tracks are definately on the Glasgow set.

OK, thanks, and everyone else who replied.

cheers

You know you can get a much higher quality version (near album quality) of these tracks if you download the Glasgow 2005 live set, right?

Righteo, The first track contains the melody from the end of LCC. No question there, it IS the same melody. Whether it is a progenitor or not, I don't know.

The second song, is fucking amazing, but I do recommend you check out the Geneva version of that. The bit you posted is

excluded (it goes in to a different track) but the bit leading up to it is just absolutely sublime. To the extent that I had it bookmarked on my iaudio and would listen to it over and over and over and over and over and OVER again >:)

That's cool, I'll download that also.

No worries man.....Honestly, you should download all the live sets. I've been listening to them for about a year now :P

The cool thing is that you'll find each of your favourite little bits are done slightly different in each of the sets ie. The beat at the start of the geneva set is very high end and nasty sounding, while in the London set it begins much slower and is much fatter. Also, definitely check out the London set at around the 12:45 mark....probably the most stomping moment in any of the bootlegs.
