smojphace is lush. merzbow is completely different. smojphace is more of a compromise between old school industrial and merzbow.

yeah these samples are good, i'll be ordering it, whoever it is.

and smojphace is seriously fucking awesome. i was at a DJ set once by the bug and he dropped the run the place red remix, it was absolutely mental!

well, it's pretty fucking aphexy to be sure....

pity it's just three tracks though. oh well, i'm still hoping that mr james releases a full album this year.

Aphex or not, I enjoyed the samples, picking this up for sure.

i can't form an opinion of this record until i know whether its by the aphex twins or not

IM sure he would use epic sounding reverb and delays through his whole career and then go and use a preset making it sound like it was recorded in a bedroom

track1 hand clap arrangement sounds like vibert.

track2 funk line and 'clicks' and mouth noises sounds like vibert.

overall the feel is too funky for just rdj
