He had a little mechano frame that triggered samples. It was interesting, but not particularly awesome.

I haven't heard Pop, but Mecanoid is fantastic

same for i : didnt heard pop yet but his previous cd is damn mad !!

& its a grower, its not just weirdos mecanos but PB has also a really nice touch, strong melodies, mood.

i truly recommend his music, its really fresh (if you like repetition, loops in music but also acoustic & exotic sounds he is the man)

Yeah, that mechano thing was awesome. It wasn't triggering samples perse though. Parts of it were miked up. He would different attachments on to get different rhythms and stuff. He also had specially made piano rolls too!
