I love Blue Shift Emissions, but still somehow prefer the first album. I suspect Bike's going to be ace though; that and the promise of forthcoming Ochre are the main reasons I took out a subscription.

just got this yesterday and had it on the player repeatedly over past 24hrs or so.

fabulous.

Round The Rigg and Chopper are highlights, Gresham Flyer Dreams is a fine peice too... bit like a trippy offspring or sibling of some of the Blue Shift stuff (happyfour twenty in particular).

review will be in a future issue of Reverb.

Guest skytree

Just got my promo copy in the post recently as well...absolutely brilliant stuff.

Though I really enjoyed Blue Shift personally, for anyone that was a fan of the warmer, thicker, more playful Christ tracks, this is as much as a return to form as a progression. A great EP to put on when you're feeling down, needing a bit of a boost and something to get your mental cogs turning...

Glenbrook's a definite favorite, especially with the "Giving Tree" sample...it was a favorite Shell Silverstein story of mine for a long time. There's something really moving and personal about the voice recording.

Nab this when you get the chance.
