Autechre my tr-606 modded itself

basicaly my computer has been broken for some time, i'm writing this on a school computer, anyway during this time i haven't touched my 606 but the other day when i tried it out i noticed that the hihats have totally fucked themselves up, they sound very high pitched and go up and down randomly, every other sound is untouched except the hihats and ride, I would post a sound if there was any way for me to record it atm. it sounds like if autechre sneaked into my apartment and rebuilt the hihats to make it sound more.. well, autechre. it's cool in a way but i miss the hihats, they're simply undefeated when it comes to smooth dynamic hihat sound

any idea what could be causing it? broken oscillators? temperature?

I love the autechre tabla. I wish they weren't so fucking expensive, I'd circuit bend one.
