hey. :-) nevermind. there's no deadline. i'd really say we stop when things are good enough. cubus' is really good... in fact its the best ambient one so far. took a bit long... but that shouldn't hold you away from making one also.

i mean really. you do music for yourself, don't you ? i do for me... and to share it. you can do both. these samples are very good... and the original track is a fantastic track of an outstanding album - i'd never thought he'd manage these two releases in that way. i cannot even find something i could do better there... but i felt i can work out a remix. the samples are perfect of length.

123bpm. they are exportet. if you cut it into 8 bars you see how perfect they're cut. its not very hard to use them.

i did mine because i wanted to give a part into this... and for energizing others to do better - if you give up that'd mean i should not make one the next time. take your time... tell me when you need some time still. we have all the time of the world, really. the january is already a very good month of 2006 for retropublik, and we have additional munition for our rockets. we have no need to release it tomorrow.

i believe your work of 2 weeks efford will be better then mine of a day. so don't care about whats there. see we are all here... a network of musicians... and you are able to tell 'hey, guys... wait a second, i don't feel finished - but i like to do it!'

no no no... the original track is terrence trent d'arby's "as yet untitled" track off of "the hardline according to terrence trent d'arby" album... his first album... it's an accapella track.

in regards to the remix... i should have something ready in a couple of days.

here's mine. i might work on it more. might not. so if i don't post an updated version.. this is my submission.

i used the midi file and it ended up quite different from the original. the drums are from the drum-looop tho.
