plaid Antiworld Festival 06-08/07/07

In a few weeks a Hampshire field will explode with all sorts of live electronic music and associated festive happenings, courtesy of the Antiworld Festival. The full line-up for the Friday evening, during which I’m performing, features the likes of Digitonal, Infinite Scale, Calika, Isan and Zainetica, showcasing such indie labels as Toytronic, Benbecula, Boltfish, Static Caravan and Rednetic.

That’s just one stage (of half a dozen or so), of one evening. Stay for the weekend and check out Plaid, Ninja Tune founders Cold Cut, Hexstatic, Digitalism, Speedy-J, plus about six million more acts. Day tickets are available for just £35, with the full weekend’s fun costing a beautifully rounded £100.

Opening the festival at 04 am on Friday the first 24 hours of the chill out stage will present a an eclectic musical journey through some of the more experimental and innovative genres of electronic music such as Glitch / electronic music / Minimal / Folktronica / Dubstep and a touch of Psychedelia…

Sorry - just this line-up on stage 8 is cancelled (the other line-ups on stage 8 are unaffected). Just us who aren't playing.

Ah, gotcha - sorry to hear about that. I was very, very tempted to go to Antiworld, but it's a bit too close to Glade and work's really busy at themo.
