Is it cool, or is it just me?

i could barely hear anything through the crappy crappy mp3 compression of that clip.

Yeah, it is, infact, an old track you can find on burning'n'tree i think - bput with fucking awful compression (or even passed through a dodgy filter)

I'll have to listen to Chin Hippy more closely, but by "fucked up a bit" I could see how it may be the same rhythm/sequence but completely re-sampled and sped-up at least 2-3x... Potentially, but I don't think so, anyways.

But I shall have to listen to Chin Hippy again at a more reasonable hour.. If it is, I am amazed that you recognized it as it is here.

the chin hippy rhythms are quite distinctive, as are the drum tones and sprays. It definately contains a fair portion of chin hippy - hes probably twisting the structure slightly live... a la the kind timesteching/arpeggio midi retriggers he used in the Go Plastic tours (using his control freak - which is on my list to buy :P).

There could be elements of other tracks in there... damned if i can pick them out though.

Or rather, I take that back: Same samples etc., but a wholly new sequence and rhythm.

well...if i can recognise large parts of it as being the same rhythm and sequence... is it a new track, or just a live performance of chin hippy?

do you expect him to play a straight version of it, or to mash it up a bit? at what point does it go from live performance, to remix, to nuxx, to new track?

i dont know about you... but id just class it as a live performance
