its barely audible in most parts. And honestly I don't think Hellow Meow really works in the begining though, kinda forced. It's nice to see squarepusher in the commercial media though.

i heard some afx in three of the most terrible programs i've seen in a long time this week

It's probably just electronic music fans who are desperate to show off their love for an alternative genre. So they just throw in AFX and Squarepusher tracks where ever and it just doesn't fit. I like seeing electronic music in commercial media, but if it's forced than it makes it look shitty/"weird" and it just confirms why it is labled as "alternative". Goddamn.
