elephant eyelash for me was too catchy. i can't listen to it much as it sticks n my head so badly. its dangerous music. i wake up and its in my head at 3am then i can't stop it playing and i'm awake.

looks like most of the album is on his myspace right now.

picked it up at the sf show which was pretty good. band was a little out of practice maybe from too long recording.

then i find out there is a preorder deal on anticon where you could get a demo disc. damn i want that. any got it? if you want to sell i'm interested.

song of the sad assassin sounds so much like else at the start. but i cant think what it is. the billy the kid ending is what i've been waiting for since i saw them play it two years ago. seems to have got shorter tho.

i did the preorder deal but got an email today saying that the vinyls are shipping next monday. so I have to wait but I am looking forward to the demo disc thing.

Ah damn this is good. I'm thinking it's a bit better than elephant eyelash, but I think I need a few more listens.

After 3 weeks I am still listening to this album like it's about to disappear at any moment. If I'm not listening to it I hear it in my mind. I think I'm addicted... Anyone have an idea of how to kick this habit?

yep why is totally addictive. i wake up singing it in my head and cant get it out.

a good rememdy i've found are listening to the fall or the silver mt. zion album

first listen of the demo disc (big thanks to you). really enjoying it. its weird how the tracks are pretty much finished. i expected just yoni and keyboard plus drum machines like his first album kinda. i might even prefer this to the perfectly recorded album. love the silly voice and melodica on sad assassin. hollows barely changes from this to final version.

This is my favourite album this year. Or last year. Or whenever.

Can't wait to see them at Primavera.

t-shirts yes i got one but it aint all that. blue with a red drawing and some words. material aint all that. made in bangladesh.

I'm still getting used to thinking of "why" as the band and not just yoni. oh yeah and the new album is great.

I was at SF too, thought they were pretty tight. His brother's vibraphone/drumkit set up was very interesting.

Those idiots up in the right balcony got old really quick though.

Doseone was also quite good.

Goddamn. This is a fantastic release. My ears are very happy. I will have this on the playlist for quite some time.

Complimenting it with Subtle - very powerful combo.
