If one plays notes from certain songs from this album on a keyboard, such as "Blue Calx" and "[hexagon]", the notes played are very similar.

this sentence is confusing. I think it means to say, the notes in many of the songs are are the same. Both Blue Calx and hexagon use the same five note scale in the same key. But so what.

I dunno, I thought it was interesting.

and that Hexagon is actually getting a mention. It's a bloody interesting track.
