personally i only liked a couple tracks, the krieger remix and the spotlight remix. oh an the "we have arrived" rmx but that was already on classics

anyone else get the feeling that by naming the compilation "26 mixes for cash" it was aphex kind of putting a disclaimer on it, as if to say "I know a lot of these tracks suck, i just made them for cash"

not at all actually, i think its by far the best RDJ release before Rushup Edge. but i do get that feeling about other releases he does like smojphace and a few others not even worth mentioning.

Yeah, I was about to mention that Smojphace is the worst thing I've ever heard. I'm not really into the genre of music called "noise".

I almost always listen to this release as a whole, but my favourites are:

I can't get the name "Johnny Cash" out of my mind when I think of 26 Mixes for Cash.

Therefore I never think about this money aspect.

I listened to that track again just to make sure. But, yeah, it has a decent cutsy melody about 45 seconds in, but beyond that, i get nothing from it. too jittery but going nowhere. the last half of the song is basically a bass loop.

But those NIN remixes. Trent Reznor wishes he were so dark.

i love some of the mixes. some real good tunes that sound like none of his usual songs on his albums.

the wagon christ - spotlight remix sounds pretty much like an extra hangable auto tune.
