Autechre Rare Autechre Tracks

I hadn't heard (of) any of these tracks until a few days ago when I did a little discogs digging.

I managed to track down these via slsk;

Carni [from V/A - Wasted; The Best of Volume I [1995])

Chatter [from V/A - Artificial Intelligence II [1994])

Lanx 3 [from V/A - Volume 8 (1993)]

Stop Look Listen [from V/A - We Are Reasonable People [1998])

Other ones I found, but couldn't manage to DL;

Puch [from V/A - Elements (1997)]

Nonima [from V/A - Mind the Gap (1995)]

Silversub (is this a re-edit of Silverside?) [from V/A - Future Music Magazine Promo (1995)]

All Tomorrow's Linoleum [V/A - All Tomorrow's Parties 1.0 (2001)]

Naftwa4 [V/A - Warp Mix (2004)]

Does anyone have dl's for the ones on the bottom \ want a dl for ones on the top ?

All Tomorrow's Linoleum is one of my favorite Autechre tracks.

Stop look listen is great.

And I have lanx 3.

I think Ive heard most if not all of them. Don't have any copies of them on this iteration of my PC though sorry.

I can't ever really get into these one off tracks because they barely ever work on their own, outside the context of an album. They're handy to hear how Ae are evolving between albums though. Although if I recall Naftwa4 sounds nothing like Untilted.

my fav are nomina & piobmix2 : deep ambient trax ; why autechre & warp never released them is hard 2 understand ; if they put them on vinyl i 'd buy it str8 away!!

i found this on limewire about 3 years ago, called "0413" and attributed to autechre. sounds Anvil Vapre-ish. is it them, ye reckon?

does WAPCD51 get around? i have a nice copy of that. rare, so i hear.

right up there with drane which is a super mega best ever special Ae music

Does anyone know which albums these tracks are on? I know Stop Look Listen is on Wap100. ATL is on ATP. And the Egg is an early version of Eggshell on one of those warp comps. What else?

i've always wanted to hear "medrey" from the jap release of tri repetae (because its my favourite album). i've never even heard "medrey" but i doubt it's up to the quality of the other tracks.

hey thanks for that and why do i always overlook youtube? i thought that would've been too obscure for the tube so never really looked for it. not too bad sounding either but (like i said) not quite exceptional material.

i really do hope they go back to the more organic melodies of their earlier material for 2008. i know alot of Ae fans love their more recent experimental/abstract chaos (so do i), and i do respect where they're going with that direction, but it's become tedious for me in recent years. i miss their old stuff as a result and i hope they re-explore their roots.

Crystel is amazing, from the first warp AI comp. love that whole album actually

what is Weissensee? I have it, its presumably from "Fashion Lounge Remixes" or "Voyage into Chill out Zone"

i originally thought the "mental overdrive - gravity sucks, mann" track was the autechre one.

turns oot "gnit" is just a beatbox styleee cover version by marie + scratch. :pinch:
