M83 - Saturdays = Youth

There are quite a few songs that I really love by M83.

But.

I fucking HATE that stupid voice acting shit they insisted on having on the last two records. SO FUCKING CHEESY. Especially the one with the mother/daughter being chased. I almost puked when I heard it.

liked that graveyard girl song until the aforementioned voice acting started up...jeeesus thats awful

I really liked that song. The voice over was almost bearable, but it just kept going. Really throws a dent into the track.

Haha. Yeah that part is rather cringeworthy -- I reached for the skip button when I first heard that.

It's not "amazing". A good record. Just good. Heck the two other releases by M83 are better anyway...

i still really like this album, 'before the dawn heals us' had some better individual tracks, but this one is pretty much excellent all the way through. and i didn't really get into dead cities, but i haven't listened to it for a while, so i might give it another try.

i'm seeing them live in april!
