me and charles got pretty lucky, the venue they played in pittsburgh was an intimate theatre (seated maybe 200?), i mean just tiny. especially the closer, december headfuck, just wow... i wasn't sure how i'd like them live, but i was very impressed.

i couldn't believe how small the DC venue was as well (i was literally sitting on the edge of the stage, lol)

Going to check them out in a few weeks here in Newcastle, in a church. Should be fun; it was the church that swung it -- I can imagine it's a perfect venue for them.

hell yeah. the final track they started on this heavy drone part and i was in heaven. heaven i tell ya.

i loved the show, don't get me wrong, but i would have liked more drone. :arrr: but i am not complaining, as i never thought they would come to pittsburgh.

i could have prob gone to the dc show to but i had to take my gf out (went to annapolis) for her birthday.

lol no way, i took my gf to annapolis for her birthday (she went to st john's, years ago)

gah where in d.c. did they play? if i have to see one more show at the black cat i'll throw up.

there's this nice thing there called "boat & breakfast" like bed and breakfast but on a schooner called woodwind. its pretty nice. i guess the boat was used in the wedding crashers and the owner has lots of funny pictures of the cast and some good stories about christopher walken.

some place called iota club and cafe. i am new to the area so i have never been there.

the black cat really does suck ass.

it was at a weird coffee shop / concert venue in rosslyn (arlington); a very very good show ...

did anyone take a pillow?
