They're one of the older school 4AD shoegazer bands, their 1993 record Mouth by Mouth is a bit essential for prehistoric moody lo-fi. Anyway, they just came out with a new record called Detrola and it's a bit meh, although I haven't given it much of a chance yet.

You ever check out the Morr 2 LP Blue Skied An' Clear? It's all the tracks from Souvlaki reworked by Morr artists (B. Fleischmann, ISAN, Manual, Solvent, much more). Some of it is excellent and on average, it's pretty damn good.

yeah that's what introduced me to ISAN actually. pretty good stuff.
