Pretty hard to put them in order though, stunning album.

Eidetic Casein weak?!?! I'm going home.

I was listening to that track a few years ago wandering around in the woods/beach and found this weird bug... I kept walking and crossed over this patch of logs and found a whole swarm of them crawling all over. I had never seen them before and never have since. This is what Eidetic Casein reminds me of and it is very special.

I cannot do a best-worst list of this album, though pen expers is closest to #1 possible. I get a little bored with sim gishel and lentic catachresis but they're still good.

Pen Expers -#1 Ae track, gave me chills when i first heard those chords loudly

Parhelic Triangle - just a very cool track

Sim Gishel - it's perfect right after pen expers, fun shit

VI Scose Poise - i like the subtle, simple chord changes, reminiscent of caliper remote but with more feeling

Cfern - wish there was a little more variation on this one

Bine - cool once you feel the rhythm, took me a while

Uviol (just don't like the hihat/shaker sample used)

Eidetic Casein (i hate how it is mixed)

Lentic Catachresis (this song i really just do not like at all, no matter how many times i hear it, at whatever volume)

The alien language spoken during the first minutes of Lentic Catachresis is one of the reasons that make it an excellent ending track.

Yeah, what's up with all the Eidetic Casein hate? One of their coolest melodies I think.

i should clarify, lentic is cool until about the tempo change becomes permanent and that hihat comes in. i think thats at 3 minutes or so. the rest of the song sounds like they kept the song playing and went to make lemonade or something.

eidetic the song is ok, i just really do not like how it is mixed. too much high end, gives me a headache if its too loud. same with the shaker/hihat click in uviol.

Fair enough, I don't agree with you on this particular song but I have the same problem which prevents me from enjoying Reniform Puls so I get your point.

Exactly. Although I figure this may be one of those yet-unsolved rhythmic puzzles (for me). Someone posted above that there's a rhythm hidden in Bine?! wtf?

Pen Expers was an obvious one to love at first few listens, at least for me. Now I like most of the other songs a lot more though. Bine is just awesome, I can't really describe it. It's just rythm, there's no beat. And I'm totally feeling it :P Also, someone mentioned the shaker/hat sound in Uviol. I think that sound is awesome when it's changing from shaker like sound to the high pitched tone. I also love how the rythm slowly changes back and forth over time. Definetely one of the most hypnotic songs they've done I'd say.

Not going to make a full list, I can't. At the moment Bine would be at the top though and Eidetic Casein at the bottom. Probably. At the moment..
