It's pretty good. Very short. Has his usual paranoid sinister vibe. Nothing too surprising about it. If you like his other books you'll probably enjoy it.

Has anyone read Bret Easton Ellis' Imperial Bedroom? How is it?

I thought it was good though it felt sort of Bret Easton Ellis by numbers at times, but hey that's just me.

I'M SORRY FOR BEING ME I CAN'T HELP THE WAY I AM

Just finished an old classic,

The Giver.

And if I was the giver, the first memory I would transmit would be the first time I got high.

Then the second would be getting the munchies.

Stephen Jay Gould - "Full House"

One of my professor's Ph.D thesis - "Bushido: The Creation of a Martial Ethic in Late Meiji Japan"

and I should be reading this two volume collection of articles on Japan's political economy, but fuck me I don't feel like reading that right now.

a chapter from "the birth of the clinic" by fuckoult, if he didn't already die of aids i'd wished it upon him. why would anyone write something in such pointlessly convoluted way for scientific purposes.
