I think I have a Plaid live set in Austin on CD... I'll see if I can dig it out.

Found it - ripping it to WAV, will upload to the FTP, and then you can do the MP3/FLAC version.

OK, uploaded to the FTP - go grab all 700+MB of it, and convert away!

wow joyrex, that "set" would be 700mb of beautiful white noise (very high quality might i add)

so unless this a noise performance (with no audience noise?) i'd assume this really isnt a set, or just misrecorded

either way i see myself upping this onto archive.org, you just can never have too much white noise laying around

1999 08 15 is the date and Kite Rider is one of my fav all time tracks. Joyrex - what's the policy on uploading peel sessions that were not released on cd? i could add that and the 2003 sesh to the live section if it's okay . . .

unreleased radio broadcasts/ mixes/ etc can be uploaded. in other words only peel sessions NOT released on cd can be uploaded.

Plaid 1999 Manchester was 20th March as they were supporting Orbital. I know the bootlegger :p

and London 1999 was if i remember right, 27th March 1999.

Why is it that there are Plaid live shows/DJ sets listed up to 2008,

but in the actual downloads section the sets only go up to 2003?

Is there really nothing available after 2003? or am i missing something?

i have an interview in a music mag somewhere from '97 i think.. just after Not For Three's was released.

It's been around for a while. I have seen it some months ago. It's rare to see an interview with these guys, but if you search hard you can find some.

This one is after a show too, and both Ed and Andy speak:

There is another one featuring just Ed, a long one (about 20 min) where he is sitting with a laptop showing some production process, but i can't find it at the moment.
