Autechre 2nd to Autechre

We all know that Autechre is the greatest band of all time, we just disagree over who's second best. (Like how we argue over Sonic Youth's second best album.)

Who do you consider second best? (We'll all understand if you vote Gescom.)

is merzbow a band? i thought it was one person. I would put us maple before autechre, as their music is actually a result of physically substantial and organized movements of their appendages in the open air. whereas autechre is all programmed detail, though each stimulate the mind nicely. not discounting autechre, its easier to dance to

Hmmm, just going by my albums, I have the most Vibert (under his many aliases) after Autechre. Vibert kind of lacks quality control though so I dunno if he's my 2nd fav.

RDJ or The Flashbulb for me. FB is really underrated imo, he's got incredible musics skills.

i really like that avril lavine band too, she's so innovative and hip.
