The bcf would suck for controlling parameters such as envelope and filter for example.

wait, why?

some people (me included) find it more convenient to do such things with knobs. for me, the filter cutoff tweaking should always be with a rotary knob, while envelopes should ideally be set with faders. envelopes and various audio attenuators... no rule, really... except filter cutoff = knob :D

the bcf has 8 endless knobs and 8 motorized faders tho....the knobs I think are also double as pushbutton encoders.

sorry for being vague.

Someone said he preferred to control parameters with faders.

If you're doing things like fx send, cutoff, whatever with faders it's probably nicer to have shorter non motorized faders that you can violently throw around rather than the long throw faders on the bcf which are more suitable for mixing.

Guest blicero

i'm really curious about the feel of the crossfaders on these controllers? how is the x-session fader? is it fast and loose (like your mom) or is it slow and sticky?

i want a scratch-style fader plz

actually, i really just want serato + vestax mixer + 2 mkIIs
