Why I hate Warpmart

Try the amazon marketplace, thats where I got both my cichlisuite and Peel 2.

Yeah, Amazon marketplace is awesome for this kind of stuff, I wholeheartedly endorse it if you don't mind slightly used CDs.

Cichlisuite is always olive-puke-green in pictures I see on the internet, and yet my copy is yogurt-puke-purple.

Let me chime in by saying that I'm also kinda disappointed with warpmart for the following reasons:

• I didn't get EP7 even though it was promised by mail (via their contact page)
• I didn't get AE's first Peel Session for free as a compensation for all the delays and troubles, even though they promised to throw it in my package
• In the end I only received one goodie (a nice blue Quaristice sticker) in my order of 18 items
• Some cd cases were scratched and you know what they say: i will not buy this record, it is scratched

Their hovercraft is full of eels. So I'm told.

I don't have Cichlisuite, Peel Session and Anti EPs because they are so hard to find. =(

Yeah, Warpmart are a bit of a pain in the arse for that sort of shit. Maybe it's just a 'glitch' in their 'new' site. Don't know about anybody else, but I've had hardly any problems ordering from folk in the discogs marketplace.

try your local soulseek, artists dont make shit off out of print cds.

This is because there is two different Cichlisuite 12"s.

One with Yeesland & Pencha and another with Characi, Krib and Tilapia

Both with different artwork/coloured sleeves.

I have never had a problem with Warpmart in fact quite the opposite. If I order something around 4pm my order ALWAYS arrives on my desk around 9am the following day and they always throw in freebies. Sometimes they are crap and sometimes they are good.

have not recieved any freebies with warp orders recently. booooooooo! not that i order from there that often.

I got the last Surgeon CD and a few other bits thrown in with an order just after the new Warpmart launced, but nothing since, or a long time before that.

One thing I wish they would stop sending me is Flying Lotus & Prefuse 73 stickers. I have a ton of them in my drawer at work.

I sent warpmart an email asking when they thought they would be back in stock.

I also just tried bentcrayon.com. Though even though the order was processed, I doubt they have all that stuff in stock. (meaning the vinyl. I already have all of the available cd Autechre except for like the radio mix or whatever.)

do you really think EP7 will be back in? I've had an order which included EP7 and after couple of weeks waiting I've finally got a message from them that they had to refund EP7 and just send me the remaining items... a real pity because the reason I had to wait is them saying they'd get EP7 in stock.

I think they don't know what they're up to themselves...

i used to buy from warpmart all the time, but, since the redesign, it's fuckin shit - and i told them so.

they've also become incredibly snobby in answering any questions, which also annoys the hell out of me.
