Why I hate Warpmart

I just wish to fuck they would repress Tri on vinyl as my copy got totalled by my cat. One side anyways.

Warpmart is crap. They have been for years, long before the redesign. I wishy they'd leave their faggy art mags and such out of my orders and shave a £ or two off of the shipping. No Ultravisitor bonus disc, either!

nope. not considering i didn't use the phrase "your site is fucking shit" but more "i don't much care for the redesign",

and in passing at that. more experience of snobbishness from them that relates to any lengthy descriptions of the odd thing i've not been happy with. they don't keep track of people either, they've no real idea who you are because you just use a "submit message" box.

Someone let me know when they decide to actually stock the items they're having a "sale" on

lol they don't have anything at all by BOC except the geogaddi cd. And not much by Aphex either. Seems silly.

yea, I wonder why they don't do that? I mean, I bet they would sell. That's a classic AE album, and there is a whole next generation of fans that weren't around when that was out. AE themselves have said that the majority of the fans at their newer gigs are all younger dudes.

I have only good words towards warp and warpmart, considering my own experience of course

so yeah this is really poor by them

they are starting to fill in some of the out of stock items now. Although it seems like just on CD, not on vinyl. Still haven't filled in Peel, EP7, or Cichlisuite though if that's what you are after.

PS, I was planning on ordering the vinyl for Chiastic Slide from them, but it just says 12". Shouldn't it be 2 X 12"? Is it just a misprint? anybody know? I emailed them but they haven't got back to me yet.

What is it with Warpmart and Paypal by the way? Do you need to enter Creditcard data either way, or am I mistaken?

Since I'm using my bank account with Paypal, no creditcard.

warpmart failed to send me a quaristice LP without a bent sleeve, they tried two times - then gave me a refund. fair enough, but it's a pity they couldn't do what every other recordshop on the net can do...

I think that has little to do with them and more to do with just disrespect from the post. My copy of Draft has a scratch on the back of the cover.

It's the same with most people who send records. You just have to hope for the best. Got a bent Burial LP from boomkat, yet SND arrived almost perfect. Skamshop so far is bating 1.000 for me.

yeah, maybe are the british postal service around warp rough? the soft cardboard for my packages didn't helped much anyway... I just think it's a bit special cause I've ordered a lot of vinyl the last few years and quaristice from warpmart has so far (knock on wood) been the only damaged one...

(oh no, I forgot - don't order - EVER - from www.recordstore.co.uk/mutebank/ - hardly anything survives their handling according to me and a lot of other people from depmod's forums... )

music non stop was my absolute favourite shop, all items were always in perfect condition - but they're out of business nowadays... :(

There was a time Warpmart sent me broken jewelcases in half of my orders.

yea, my CD version of Donkey Rhubarb is ravaged. The CD was fine though, just the case was messed up.

Order shipped today. Hopefully no damage.

I'm sure it's an overseas thing. I've never had a single problem with Warpmart.
