Autechre Incunabula

I can't believe I didn't get this sooner. I heard Autechre changed styles later on - so what else is similar in style to this? It's brilliant (it's like each track is the same track, they all flow together to make one piece).

I seriously overlooked that topic. But now that you've linked me to it I have me some recommendations don't I?

I got to know Maetl as it was played right before Aphex Twin began his performance in The Hague. I love the melody and weird mood. And Bike is a killer track as well.

I heard the Rhodes-ish piano part from Lowride on the radio in another song a while ago, funny lol.

Checking out Amber slowly by the way. *sigh* Yes I'm downloading, when I can I am buying every album I've downloaded worth the purchase. Started work on my µ stuff first of course and then my parents decided to get rid of their credit card and that was my only means of getting the albums (unless they decide to go to goddamn Adelaide anytime soon for chissakes). But yeah I'm a pirate... don't hate me - I am making amends slowly but surely!

I am not hating on Incunabula, it just isn't as amazing as all their other albums. It is still great. And 444 is class btw.

444 sounds like a robot singing to me. I love that track.

Spun looks like a pretty rad store, do the prices fluctuate heavily? If not that much, it seems a very cheap option now and then, especially since the dollar isn't worth much at the moment lol.

i love incunabula, it may not be their best album, but its one of my favourites (probably because its the first i got heard other than the videos)
