Speaking of anal, what's the format/bitrate for these?

The bitrates are many, and most of them bad. these were all collected a few years ago and i got the only copies available. One of the shows is at 56k, but most are between 160 and 256. There's generally quite a bit of crowd noise as well, but one or two are soundboards.

I think I might have a "thing" or two that's not on there. I'll poke around and see if I can't pull something out of the dust.

agreed on both points (not that you're a snob, but that I am as well) I would gladly see those contributions removed if better recordings or less compressed versions became available. However, considering the likelihood of that happening . . .

I never expect too much quality with live recordings, so I'm not complaining. Just downloaded the Manchester set and it sounds pretty good. Thanks for your efforts Fox, looking forward to hearing some more of these. Incidentally, which ones are soundboard?

Sonar is sound board, as is the toronto show. only ones i can think of off hand.

CATS now has zips of the SF, Coachella, Istanbul, Batofar, Columbus, Eindhoven, Columbus and Chicago shows. So those will be up when he gets a chance. No Vancouver show, the file turned out to be a 1 k ram file. useless. No Austin show as joyrex already posted it (likely in better quality, too) I will be uploading the 1999 and 2003 peel sessions, however, as well as a live vid from the 2003 ers
