my mom said she liked the Manson stuff out now. that was weird. she'd probably never understand Antichrist which is clearly his best work. it's not watered down enough. of course, Portrait would just flip her out.. interesting how that works.

funny you should mention that cause every single little black lipstick/eyeshadow/fingernails goth character I have ever known has bought into the whole marilyn manson thing, and this was like 11 years ago back in high school. I was always under the impression that Marilyn Manson was extremely mainstream because back in the late 90s every where I went I would see someone wearing a marilyn manson shirt and everyone I knew who had "issues" was into him. So I have no clue where you are getting this sentiment from listening to marilyn manson, that you are somehow listening to some kind of dark secret that is unknown to anyone except super cool people like yourself
