yes, listening to it whilst youre still getting into drum'n'bass is intense. now it puts everything to shame. everything sounds lazy.

That's such a hilariously bad reason to bump a thread from 7 years ago that I loled. Looking forward to the lively debate between the two that will no doubt ensue.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure you can say objectively that drukqs is RDJ's and probably the best album in music history since like the mid 90s and until now.

I've never said this about any album but I think drukqs is a 10/10.

Vordhosbn, Meltphace 6 and Ziggomatic V17 are the best music I've heard in my life so far, but I'm young.

Drukqs was playing in Amoeba Records today while I was shopping. It was a really great experience!

Imagine if you were forced to work in a style of yours from 12 years ago, that'd be some kind of torture.

I was young when this dropped, and I thought it was poor (compared to RDJ album, ICBYD, and SAW1). Took me a long time to see that it's easily his best album. But I presume that's the genius of it. Shit like this, thats far ahead of it's time isn't gonna be an instant, casual high five once you've skipped home with the cd from HMV.

Deep, dark, potent magic like this takes time to weave it's spell.
