let's talk about a real band for a moment. what's your favorite album? mine is future days. then tago mago. they are both perfect albums.

Ege Bamyasi is pretty fucken good too. Tago Mago is brilliant though.

i enjoy delay 1968 the most, but everything i've heard has been good

greatest band in the world.

They're all pretty ace. Of the ones not mentioned already, Soundtracks (for Mother Sky), Monster Movie, Soon Over Babaluma and Unlimited Edition are all very worthwhile. Everything after Flow Motion is pretty gash but there's usually one good track on 'em.

The live stuff is also generally awesome.

anybody know of any high quality video/audio recordings of them live from the 70s? i know there is a shit ton of magma recordings, there must be some good Can.

For those who are just getting into can and want similar music i also recommend Faust.

monster movie is freakin' awesome. plus the artwork is super-electronic music especially considering it was made in 1969.

tago mago is my favorite. closely followed by future days.

For those who are just getting into can and want similar music i also recommend Faust.

they released a documentary and a concert on DVD, although the quality is supposed to be sub-par. i think there's also a ton of live bootlegs for them. btw faust arent nearly as interesting or good to me.

been listening to tago mago a lot in the last few days. thank you watmm, this record owns !!
