yah, can is so great, one of my favorite band, no doubt.

Magma is a band I have yet to love......

The operesque vocals sung in a made up language kills it for me...but the music is cool

reminds me of Andy Kaufman singing 'Mighty Mouse'......

And I don't like Rush any more because I am not 14.....the music isn't good enough to make up for the Birdman singing

I love Yes (70's work) even though Jon Anderson's voice is a bit out of my range of taste, I can get past it somehow, his lyrics are a plus to enjoying his alto tones.....and their music is incredible, fucking 'Relayer'!

tago mago - egebamyasi - future days - is such a timeless blessed trilogy. wonderfull stuff, i think i change my favorite everyday. might be my favorite music ever.

amongs that hefty list, there's some really good interpretations on there

sonic youth has a very interesting remix of "spoon" on that album. they just slow it down but it sounds really sweet

i was listening to "one more night" while driving around this evening. i've never heard of a band that can be so mellow while also having such a visceral, engaging sound. stereolab maybe, but not quite.

and their music probably sounds best during the warm months.
