Heh, that's interesting. I always thought drukqs era aphex was max/msp (maybe even supercollider) but it does have that same vibe as early v snares.

it's ok mr. james, i'll field this one.

combine 2 1/4 cups flour, 1 tsp baking soda, 1 tsp salt in container alpha. stir gently.

soften 2 stix of butter in container beta. not too much softening now.

stir 3/4 cup granulated sugar into container beta.

stir 3/4 cup brown sugar into container beta. mash the lumps.

stir 1 tsp vanilla into container beta.

mix in 2 eggs, one at a time.

gradually mix in the contents of container beta. try to avoid stirring too much at this stage!

mix in 2 cups chips, and 2 cups nuts if preferred.

stick that into the fridge a bit to chill it down, preferrably with your cookie pans.

spoon out dollops a bit smaller than golf balls on to a lubricated pan.

preheat the oven at 350 or a bit under, bake until golden brown around the edges. let sit on the pan a bit, mvoe to cooling rack, watch your waistline expand.
