probably about 10 as quitter (with ben snadoval)

and a handfull of odd "one-off" aliases (like napalm debt or the kevin federline 5)

as to how: brandi_b has a pretty good idea

don't ever expect anyone to do anything for you

just do it for the love of music and other things will fall in line

there definitely are shadier ways to get onto shows (have amalgamous amounts of drugs/girls lying around etc...)

but i find just staying in contact with whoever is playing/putting on the shows you want to see yourself on is the best way

also:

if somebody does go out of their way to put you on....putting on a good show speaks volumes

like....don't just look like your browsing watmm when you're up there

i have played in/around Texas many many times (20-30 something? i dont know) since 2002. i used to do big parties and rave/techno stuff, but have since moved onto the culturally uncomfortable hiphop scene.

Plans are in the works for a watmm meetup/show guess-ta-mated - Late summer/Fall 2009. More details later. The show will happen no matter what. Perhaps I can bug some of my favortie watmmers until they give in and come :). We'll see. More deatils later :) It'll be in NC and if no one comes from out of town, then I'll just put a big screen computer projecter on and browse/post on watmm in front of a crowd.

PS- If there's another watmm "meetup" next year also, that's fine. The main focus of this one is to have a show, and make a dvd of it, hang out, mess with each others gear, etc. Anyone interested can PM me and I can jot your name down, but it's a little early for that.
