jealous !.. I've checked this auction several times with envy in the last past days but I don't have the balls to go for it. I'm intending to look for one next month though as I'll have cleared a couple of money / work stuff. How did you get yours ?

 

I actually won an auction for 140 € 3-4 years ago, but the seller never got back to me. I´ve been on a hunt ever since, and because I like to buy my instrumens locally, the wait has been quite long.

I paid 200€ for a near mint one. There is this music messageboard here in Finland that has a for sale -department, and I snatched it from there. This was probably my 3rd or 4th attempt to purchase, they always move real quickly.

I don´t have the balls to order anynthing so fragile abroad, so I just wait patiently until something nice pops up locally.

Now, the hunt for MKS-80 continues!

I've gotta say, considering this was £75 it's pretty powerful and the build quality is excellent. The rotator knobs are as solid as I've felt on anything. The full integration as Live controller means it can control pretty much anything which is great for live use, and supposedly there's nearly 450 assignable knobs due to the 16 pages it can hold. Compact too. I do love new shiny things.
