ps - konakt 2 and 3 are not very different layout wise

 

pps- east west comes with its own kontakt player with the samples all laid out in it. All you have to do is load whatever sound. Should come up in your vst plugs if installed correctly.

 

 

but if you have something working don't make things more complicated leave them be.

you are a bigger noob than you thought.

 

MULTIsamples mean there is one sample per key so you don't get horrible pitch shifted sounds on certain notes, and unique note timbre. Also a lot of those sample packs have velocity mapped samples as well, meaning that there are different samples being triggered for different velocities. Those tracks that I'm guessing you have heard from the makers are most certainly highly tweaked. I would not expect your stuff to sound as fantastic unless you work on it for years. IMO those packs only sound good when you bury them in a mix. On their own they stink of fakeness.
