portable sequencers

I've tried many iPhone apps but imho for something pocketable the DS10 is still the best for synth programming depth and UI plus you can jam with other DS owners over bluetooth

other than that the yamaha stuff if you need midi but they are a little old hat now

not sure what there is on Android but I'd like to find out more

some MPC1000 owners have had there units running of R/C car batteries oh yeah there's that OP-1 but it's a bit ghey and overpriced
