I enjoy the fragility of the rolling lol tbh. The broken lol is like our own mortality staring us in the face, reminding us to enjoy that sunset.

I don't understand the problem, I guess. If anyone thinks I'm trying to ride the wave of a revival, then they probably shouldn't be listening to the music. I happen to like that style, whatever you would like to call it. electronic music, electronic, it's irrelevant. I'm doing what I enjoy, and If others enjoy it, that is great. I rarely find the myself in the situation to defend myself, as doing it on the internet is farting into the wind. But seriously, if anyone thinks I am trying to "cash in", don't listen to my record. Criticize at will, I'm fine with that. I don't really give a shit what you, they, or it thinks in regard to my music, but ethics and ideology are a different matter.

through the years, a man peoples a space with images of provinces, kingdoms, mountains, bays, ships, islands, fishes, rooms, tools, stars, horses and people. shortly before his death, he discovers that the patient labyrinth of lines traces the image of his own face.

As the self proclaimed biggest Wisp fan, I feel the need to say that you do not have to even bother explaining yourself. No one is forcing people to listen to your shit, and if they really enjoy your previous work they can continue listening to that and ignore your new stuff if they choose.

Samples sound great, will be buying!

wisp is a winner.

not everything at like 160 bpm with synth pads is Drukqs guys. most of Drukqs doesn't even sound like that.

good point, if anything i think this sounds like something aphex might have released if he continued being really into ambient music but started doing breaks. I think it sounds really interesting and much catchier than most of the new electronic music/drill stuff coming out. The way wisp does breaks in a non meandering style but still manages to vary it up alot i think is really impressive.

It has a very constant beat to it unlike a lot of the OCD breakcore stuff where there is so much

crazy time changing and stuttering going on but it never actually turns into a remotely catchy beat

So is there still a full length coming out or is this all we get from Wisp for now?

word, where a lot of non-afx fast drilly stuff falls down for me is a lack of structure

even it's a very loose one, you need some sort of framework for the snares to cling to

Just received Katabatic in the post, its great (as the samples suggest) epic pads, fantastic production.

Curiously, on the label it says Coming Soon : "We Miss You"
