I really dont understand how people are commending zoolander but think tropic thunder is horrible, its typical ben stiller over the top recockulous cinema and robert downeys performance is interesting enough to not complain about this movie IMHO.

Fuck this Stiller business - Takeshi is posting! let's make the most of it.

Timecrimes - Like "Primer" with characters and good cinematography. See it!!!

The Orphanage - Slick and soulless like a US remake of a Japanese horror. Super derivative and full of cliches to boot. Not at all scary.

Gozu - WTF WTF WTF Miike does Lynch. Or something. Loved it. MOST WTF ENDING EVER

Dead Or Alive - Live action Itchy and Scratchy. With bonus serious crime drama. Quality Miike

Sikuyaki Western Django - Worst Miike I have seen, but still fun. Good to finally see one in the cinema

Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay - Loved the subversiveness of it all, but doesnt quite deliver

Tropic thunder had a lot of potential but there just weren't enough gags.

Ben Stiller has indeed been in a lot of shit, i think i've enjoyed him most in his little sitcom performance. He was great in Extras, it was nice seeing him at the beginning of season 4 of curb and he's fucking hilarious as tony wonder in arrested development.

I think the worst ben stiller film i've seen is the one where he played a rabbi and owen wilson plays a priest, and they both fall in love with the same woman. Can't remember the name, but what the FUCK was all that about?!

Tropic Thunder was a bit of a let-down. I thought the opening was brilliant and hoped the film could keep up that pace. Alas. It just lapsed into a goofy action flick. Oh well.

Talk about losing money. It's $13 to see a movie in NYC. That is a pretty pinch of coin to lose on a bad movie.

I saw the title and decided I might spend a drunken stoned and lobotomized dollar to rent it.

tropic thunder was pretty funny, unexpectedly so

i thought a lot of the gags were clever at least in the way they didn't break character nor did they break the cliche they were sometimes imitating. actually i thought overall it was a really good movie!

i don't get the huge love for pineapple express. i liked it but i am not going to cum out my mouth on to my keyboard for it.

zoolander, on the other hand..

also didn't ben stiller have something to do with The Cable Guy?
