JAS - The Preview now at bleep....

Its all there is glourious techno-stream; a lot better than listening to the bangface recording.

Glass house is a sweet track for those who wondered.

But its all good of course.

aww man. i've had the first track in my head all day (from the bangface recordings). so good to hear it in good quality and know its on the album :)

Quick scan through, it sounds very nice. He seems to have neglected to include all the acid bangers he's been playing out over the last couple of years though, its more of a slick, jazzy album like HND.

i dont think the 'acid bangers' would fit.

i'm still waiting for a release of that song that ceephax/aphex/cylob has played and was apperantly on the b-side of 'do you know squarepusher'. though star time 2 kinda reminds me of it.

`Not liking this much to be honest, first and fourth tracks are great, but on the whole it just sounds like more 70s latenight tv guitar noodling with a healthy dash of fruity slayer thrown in.

I have to agree with Jaffa on this one... so far, I'm not terribly impressed - doesn't mean though once listened to fully, it's not a good album.

Cover is very interesting - doesn't say "Squarepusher" to me at all, with the exception of perhaps the er, squares...

They really aren't promoting this much at all are they. No mention of it on Warpmart. Not on any of the front pages of bleep (you have to manually hunt through the search) and sidelined to a small paragraph on the warp newsletter. Warp, why so cold ?

Great.. when i get how i can use my whiley powers to grab the lot off bleep.... and i dont mean by cut-n-paste. I'll be buying it later but for now...................i'll have the lot thanks to bleeps loophole

oh and i guessed rigt about the bright colours on the album colour. I said a new logo too but we can't see it clearly yet if there is one.

i ain't really feeling this too much. will probably end up getting it eventually tho

edit: it certainly sounds different. maybe he hired a sound engineer or something (as far as i know, hello everything was mixed by himself, don't know if mastered)

Just had a little grope and yeah I'm feeling it. Anyone else notice that it say's on Bleep that it will be available from 15/09/08? I want extras though an EP, limited edition extras a la Autechre Quaristice, even some remixes by other people, Rustie, Clark, Vibert etc. Although dunno if he likes people tampering with his music, I know there's the remixes on Maximum Priest but he has strong views about people asking him to remix their tracks ie. they wish to steal his sound or something?

EDIT AGAIN: Some are really nice.

EDIT VOL. 3: nevermind - Planet Gear gets pretty nice far in.

EDIT #23 (Edition 6; MetalLizard Partition 0.2) - These songs remind me of the same kind of mood the Vanilla Dome music from Super Mario World put me in. That is a good thing.

You can still use the Firefox cache method to grab. In crappy Bleep quality however.
