They really aren't promoting this much at all are they. No mention of it on Warpmart. Not on any of the front pages of bleep (you have to manually hunt through the search) and sidelined to a small paragraph on the warp newsletter. Warp, why so cold ?

I totally agree there. All they really care about now is their new indie rock bands.

Yeah it's been down for a while. However, youtube has every track up. I'll be honest, 45% of the album sounds like a soft porn soundtrack. Not what i expected from a guy i consider to be one of the greatest composers of our time...but i'll hold off any concrete opinions until further review.

Sadly, i looked at the youtube videos, and I agree. i think the novelty of the sound is pretty damn cool... but after a bit, the novelty will pass(rather quickly). Im not super disappointed though because this album came after HE. if it had come after HND or Music is a rotted one note, it would have been really weird. But HE was such a collage of previous styles, that really anything was possible after it. I think just as Selection Sixteen is his Acid Noodling Album, this will be his 70's guitar/post-rock album. It Will be forgotten rather quickly and he'll be back in action quite quickly.

I must say i\'ve heard disappointment from many concerning HE, but i thought and still think it is a solid album, a continous evolution from his previous work. The album showed his direction at the time with a return to more melodic content. I\'m sure well all say just a souvenir was his take on post-rock, but your right it will be forgotten...i just never thought i would say that about anything he\'d release! There are very few composers who become their own influences (ie cage, varese, ives, ae etc) that show us the door to something unheard and unimagined. Your right though, he\'ll be back in action very quickly, and i can\'t fuckin wait to hear it.

I enjoy the fragility of the rolling lol tbh. The broken lol is like our own mortality staring us in the face, reminding us to enjoy that sunset.
