Other than getting really expensive cigarettes (Treasurer etc.) in Harrods, no. But I'm on the lookout for one.

Soho, loads. Mainly cigar shops but naturally sell other products.

I'll take a trip down when I've actually got some money. I'm really keen on pipe-smoking but I'll probably keep at as a home-time hobby so as not to look like a total twat. Worth getting one that's already broken in, you reckon?

My grandfather used to use meerschaum pipes, they are the bees knees i guess.

A colleague of my father's lost his saliva glands to mouth cancer, from smoking pipes and cigars. Fellow had to have water with him at all times just to be able to speak or swallow. Fucked if that's going to stop me from smoking. Thanks for merking the thread, killjoy.

I've seen a drunk person walk into traffic and get hit by a bus once. He flew like 10 feet, was still alive, but who knows if he was injured... So yeah, fuck going out, sitting at home and not drinking is so much better!!!

first real cigarettes were marlboro reds, i gave them to a friend and started with marlboro blend 27s, been with them since.

too lazy to roll, though it'd probably be a lot cheaper.

i'd like to try british cigarettes, though; i imagine it'd taste like dry humor, and there'd probably be a bit of weed in there already, so word?

first cig i smoked was a pack of cloves i got from my friend who didnt want them, smoked a few, one of em made me sick so i threw em out. two years later im hankering for cigarettes after being the only kid who didnt smoke them in the media arts program at school. Bought a pack of blue drum tobacco and learned to enjoy a good cigarette, but after about a week or two threw out the pack, deciding i didnt want to get into this sort of thing.

i saw a nice old lady walking to starbucks to pick up a morning coffee get literally obliterated by a city bus. i guess going out sober and calm is also out of the question. she did die though. unless she was a zombie. which would have been pretty awesome.

In the past couple of months I've found myself occasionally gagging as I smoke a cigarette, even vomitted once. Whilst sober too. I don't know if it's just the way I'm rolling and that I'm having to drag harder or that I'm inhaling mostly paper because I make my rollies pretty small, but it's certainly annoying and probably a sign that I should quit.

there's a famous tobacconist just down the road from me. you get all sorts of amazing imported stuff... like this sweet fruity rolling tobacco that smells like candy floss when you smoke it... used to sell all headshop usuals, shrooms, growing kits and salvia too.

my aunt was a health and fitness freak all her life... in fact you'd struggle to find a more clean-living person. BUT SHE STILL CAUGHT CANCER and her end was far from pretty.

My housemate loves Pall Mall. I'm confused by the fact that they come in three different strengths, I'm not sure if orange is light and blue is medium and red is full-strength, or whether blue are full-strength and red are a B&H Black-style extra strong.

Agreed, if you want a strong and iconic cigarette it has to be Lucky Strike. I actually prefer rolling baccy in my joints for the slower burn, but I don't really smoke many joints any more.

i agree, which is weird, becasue before i moved to brighton, even the sight of someone skinning up with baccy used to rile me, but now i always skin up with baccy. occasionally i'll skin up with someone elses fags if they request / demand it, and admittedly i prefer the smoke like that, but personally, i like to have a joint "on the go" for a while which you just can't do with straights. i still refuse to skin up with marlboros though

back when i smoked joints i'd use the thinest little amount of a silk cut so's all i could taste was lovely grass. silkies don't have a strong flavour. strong fags are not for smoking in joints, they're for smoking on their own as they are.

rolly tobacco was always so thick and acrid it stinks up your joint. i'd always decline a joint made with rolly tobacco.

yes, at one point i only used silk cut ultra lows and silver rizla in joints... actually at that time i even had a spell of backrolling the joints as well to minimise paper usage.

and i have to say, that those joints were the best.

well you sound like you roll an excellent joint... exactly what i used to do... stick 2 skins together with the gum from the third, not using the paper at all.

i never understood the 'rolling baccy for a slower burn' argument. for me, the tiny amount of silk cut was there to help burn the amount of grass. only students care if some of their teenth is going up in the air.

Chesterfield's are nice. as far as Pall Mall, go with the o.g.
