i liked the movie, but really...with the ending credits, i wanted to jump out of my seat and scream "WTF?!"

so is it sappy and romantic? the title and trailer make it look like shite.

I'm pretty sure it was just an homage

I saw this recently and loved it. The trailer for the movie doesn't do it justice. I agree the movie does get a bit cheesy at the end but it makes sense given the context of the movie. The song and dance number at the end was just the director's attempt and being cheeky given that the movie is based in Bombay/Mumbai , the home of bollywood. Also the song/dance is a part of the credits , so its no different than the directors showing outtakes from the movie in the sense that you don't need to watch the credits and lot of the people left right before the credits anyways

I might be a little biased because I am originally from Bombay/Mumbai though

pretty good film.

my only gripe

it was definitely a worth while movie and a good insight into Indian culture but it was kinda cheesy for sure

she looked ridiculous in HD at the sag awards last night. i was like, wtf? that's ridicluous! (i actually said it as "ridicluous")

thought it was pretty good. reminded me of my time spent in india, i even saw the big slum next to the airport (forget the name), but only from the road. i watched the millionaire show a few times when i was over there, but i couldnt understand it obviously.

and the scene at the end... come on. it is an indian movie, set in india, with an all-indian cast, there HAD to be one of those scenes. i was surprised there weren't more.

favorite part though was

I thought it was alright, but I don't see what the fuss is all about?

The Indian girl was freaking HAWT though...
