It's probably in the order it is for a reason, again I wouldn't cut anything out.

According to an interview, this was the purpose of drukqs; ripping the tracks you like and making custom tracklists from them. In the same interview, he didn't recommend listening to it as-is, front-to-back.

Yeah, looks like a nice tracklisting. Thats a perfect order. Maybe the last two would switch or take out AFX237 or whatever I don't like that song but thats up to me!

I had a little trouble deciding which should be the last track, because Afx 237 is a great final track, but Ziggomatic has that awesome "thanks for your attention, bye!" thing at the end, which would've been a great sendoff.

but then you cant listen to it the other way...ya, know, the simaltaniously playing discs way...

i like the choices though. personally i might have added nannou 2 and maybe taken out 54 cymru beats

The simultaneous thing is cool, too. Like I said, the reason the album is great is because there's so many ways to listen to it.

But removing 54 Cymru Beats would be sacreledge.

54 Cymru Beats used to be my favorite track. It gets so intense when the loud glitch-breaks thing comes in. I think I still like it more than a lot of tracks.

54 Cymru Beats is a great track mainly because of that really languid "woooooo" sample that gets panned from left to right a lot, slowed down... I just think it's so fucking funny

I have to admit, I'm a fan of what I see as the three dominant categories on Druqks: first are the softer, "acoustic" pieces; secondly the digital, drill'n'bassy tracks; and the more ambient pieces (which comprise the smallest category). Within the "acoustic" pieces are those composed for prepared instrumentation in the style of John Cage (in preparation, not so much the rest of the composition), whom I consider to be one of the most important figures in music of the 20th century.

Could that even fit on a single disc?

XD Yeah, with 40 seconds to spare. I do like overly indulgent albums (think Tool's Aenima and Lateralus, Smashing Pumpkins' Mellon Collie, Adore, and Machina), so that's how a lot of my mixes turn out.

its good but not one of my favorites

I believe Aphex Twins real genius is in his wayward drumbeats and hardcore beats

Therefore cock ver 10 would be my number 1, it may be a matter of opinion but any hardcore aphex twin fan should hold this close
