why do people say "fuck plugins"?

i think if people genuinely say 'fuck plugins' it's because they've heard someone else say it.

given that most of the people you're going to talk to are writing for low quality digital reproduction anyway, what's the fucking difference?

i used to use this cheap plug called dreamstation (dxi). it was supposed to be analog sounding but i didnt even know what analog was when i was using it. looking back now and hearing my old stuff, its a pretty wicked synth, i recommend i think

i used to use dreamstation all the time. i dont think i ever installed it on my new computer

dreamstation was fun, but bugged.

bugged how? i ask because:

1) ive never seen it bug out

2) except for this one problem i have. i cant load up my old songs in fruity loops that used dreamstation, i get this damn message about not being able to load the plugin

i know this is off topic but does anyone know how to correct this? ill send you money in the mail. seriously, im desperate here
