Forum Upgraded!

I'm going to be upgrading the forum now (hopefully all will go smoothly) - please, log off the forum and stay away for at least 30 minutes to give me time to do it (it will probably be up much faster, but I just want to taken into account any unanticipated problems).

If you see the word "OFFLINE" in the header, then you know it's still down - also, since this is a major forum upgrade, you might want to clear any watmm-related cookies and cache (there will be initially a new forum skin, followed by another skin to choose from as well that I will install once the forum is confirmed working).

OK, all done - another skin choice will be coming shortly (not of my design, but very nice nonetheless)

Oh my, doesn't it look flash - I like all the new rounded fonts (and it's certainly very wide on a widescreen monitor !)

Oh, and sorry it took a bit longer than expected - had to rebuild 891,991 post content attributes at 500 a pop! :confused:

i personnally quite like this new skin!

Yeah, I need to set a min-width and max-width so our posts aren't going all the way across the screen for those who use a maximized browser...

Well, this is the new forum's default skin, and consider we were about 2 years behind in upgrades to the forum!

I'll see what's available for the player code now...

I just adjusted it - the header should span the entire browser window length, but the main forum content should be set to 960px (suitable for 1024x768 minimum resolution).

while we were all gone i cursed joyrex on a different site for doing the switch over right in the fucking middle of the presidential inaugural process, where everyone was watching live feeds and posting in the live feed thread every two seconds and it was genius, unlike anything ive ever seen

i mean fucking seriously. joyrex did you have to do that right in the middle of the inauguration? like, it was fucking lol how horrible your timing was. youre not really from texas you are japanese
