My first memories of synthme are him posting countless mp3s on the planet-mu phorums.

i have fond memories of global goon hyping up his own music under several aliases on the rec.music.ambient usenet before watmm existed.

it was actually quite humorous and i remember when windowlicker came out one of the fake aliases was trying to convince everybody that 'rdj ripped this track off global goon'

he's always been up to tricks and i respect him for that

i kind of assumed he didnt like performing live so invented syntheme / advertised for a stand in on here

but then he started playing acid sets as goon at bangface etc no???

so maybe he was just unsure of whether his acid stuff was any good or not

personally, i find it a bit bland, though i havent properly heard that much (apart from seeing Lou do a set in brighton ages ago)

it is a lot lot better than that "doent sound like me" track on Bessemer Cocktail

that sounds like someone's first go on Fruity loops 3

utterly terrible, but its all fine and dandy cause vatican nitez/cradle of history etc exists
