arrested development is the 2nd greatest tv comedy i have ever seen, right behind father ted. it's total gold all the way through, there are no bad episodes and the joke density is ridiculously high.

trailer park boys is amazing too but i get few proper lols from it, it's just amiable fun shenanigans that are a joy to watch (and is one of those shows where describing the events that occur is possibly funnier than watching them, i was sold on it by someone describing the rush concert episode to me).

AD is the greatest show I've ever seen. I can't understand that there are people that don't find it hilarious. My girlfriend loves desperate housewives, friends, essentially all normal run of the mill sitcoms. Yet, when I showed her AD, she instantly said it was the best thing she's ever seen. As has been said, every episode is so densely packed with jokes that it will probably take you 4 or 5 viewings to catch them all.
