We get a snow like that about every week from December - March.

This is the thing about British weather. It never gets particularly hot or cold, but whenever it moves a fraction of a degree out of a very narrow comfort zone, the entire country shuts down and it's all anyone can talk about.

I did manage to get some weed though.

drove up to frozen lake erie saturday to take a walk out onto the lake and check out the ice dunes:

the snow is nearly all melted and im upset that i missed getting to enjoy myself because i had to work (i can work from home, so there's no excuse).

did manage to get some photos during yesterday lunch and on the way to work this morning:

also, bloody hell, all the pavements are still ice. i have fuck all grip on my shoes and had to walk down a hill. it was easier to jog 'n' skid than waddle.

hmm, day of my gig. the boombots will be there (chaps in walking speaker suits) so if there's snow it will be mighty interesting.

if it snows like fuck Thursday and I can then blag Friday off then quite possibly yes....

i was up in fife this morning and it was snowing heavily, wish i'd had time to take pics it was beautiful...

back in edinburgh now and it's getting very grey, snow's on its way.

Huh, I did that when the snowstorm in our area started.  I was driving around town, with only ten feet of visibility, listening to Leslie Neilsen talk about fish.

got up this morning and it was snowing and thought yes! another day off... then it stopped about a minute later and started to rain an I had to go to work :(

the connotations of the thread title are giving me chills.

finally had some nice snow here on sunday night...

It was snowing on friday, raining on saturday, I was skateboarding the streets on sunday, snowing it was again on monday, today its dry but quite cold here...its changing as fuck...

yeah most of it's gone from here too, turned to slush the next day...
