best musical development of the 00s??

I think the 00s brought plenty of interesting musical development, maybe some of it has been quite subtle but it's there.

the main question here is:

when the fuck are you!!!

of course Hip-Hop isn't dead, and there have been amazing musical transitions happening in in 00s...

But I'm talkin about the mainstream, the super mainstream, the charts, all that...anything loosely able to be called Hip-Hop, stylistically, rhythmically, has been pretty out of those charts, for a good deal of time.

Of course this means very little for GOOD MUSIC, since there have been amazing albums of many types of music in the 00s
