I once heard it's because CDs are considerably more expensive over there so to encourage people to buy them over importing the foreign versions they add bonus tracks to em.

the REAL reason is to make the rest of us have to pay $30 for a cd that only has 1 or 2 extra tracks (the gamble is they might be just ok, and now youve spent enough to have bought 2 cds, and arent you pissed)

don't really know about gonk roughage. i dislike that mechanical 'breathing' sound that is quite randomly laced over the repetitive beat. might also be because that women annoys me... 'garden growls'? urgh, get it right.
