I've only played parts of it but from what I've learned it's definitely a multiplayer experience and not really worth the single player. Also you'll need to hook up with some guys you know to get the full co-op experience out of it. It's an instense game so it's a lot more fun to go nuts together with someone you know rather than with some annoying kid whose balls haven't dropped yet.

Word - some of my friends played it recently and had a blast, but it was on loan so they had to give it back. Will probably snag it when the price drops, so if you happen to get it let me know and we can organize some non-voice-cracking-racial-slur-10-year-old-bullshit

left 4 dead is awesome! and yeah, its majestically intense in places.

the cresendo events at the end of each campaign are nuts.

it can get fucking hard aswell. to the point where everyone runs out of ammo and resorts to pistols and then a big fucker comes along and its all out survival tactics otherwise you are dead.

i love it, but i love killing zombies.
