forgive me ... but couldn't you listen to this material in full on some random netradio station ... visit another record outfit and listen to it's demo's in full ... all not in flacc qual. nowhere near .. but uninteruptedly !! ...

It's simple, it's bad business sense for them to allow uninterrupted hi-fi streams of the things they're trying to sell you.

Netradio is usually not sanctioned, or is one song in a mix of other material. Listening to a demo station in a store is not really analogous because you can't take that demo station home with you and listen while you browse porn on your computer.

And yes, obviously they're competing with free p2p, torrents, and the like, however given their the state of the music industry I think what Bleep is doing is pretty much the way to go. (preview everything, no DRM, FLAC option, 320kbps, etc etc) Sure clicking the mouse every 30 seconds is inconvenient, but that's looking at the glass as half empty.
